The History of POK (and ASAP)

Want to join? Email Patti to get registered!!

We are “run” by an organizing committee consisting of Patti, Tancha, David, and Amy. We are funded by donations, which are, of course, welcome, but absolutely not required. Perfectlyokay.org is the social and support center of the Finders Courses Alumni community. This growing, self-evolving community began in 2016 when John C. initiated video meetups during the original Explorers Course, spreading the word using email addresses gathered by Patti Levin from various sources.

They soon began working together and this grass-roots effort quickly expanded as Amy, Norb, David, and John Toomey started new meetups.  The meetups proliferated and eventually, we made the decision to expand to include all FC alumni, and then we created this amazing website!

The Adaptive Supportive Awakening Process (ASAP) was initially focused on helping people who were not in “fundamental wellbeing”, or hadn’t had a shift towards awakening after taking the FC.  ASAP was formed in late 2019 and was separate for technical and historical reasons but is now integrated into POK.

POK has over 3100 members and is growing.  Functionally, it mainly consists of a plethora of weekly meetups that have self-evolved without much oversight (to allow creative freedom), plus a forum, and frequent guest speakers.  This is an amazing, free, living, and evolving resource for us all to share and co-create.

You are welcome to attend any meetup on the list. You are also welcome to start a meetup now or at any time (email Patti the details on your proposed meetup.) We encourage you to let us know if your needs are not being met and suggest how we can improve!

We are so grateful to John Conaway who tirelessly spearheaded ASAP. RIP, dear John. We have retired the term ASAP in favor of the greater whole: POK! ASAP is still used for some audio and videos and in the Forum, and everything marked ASAP is open to all.

Email us! Start conversations in the Forum and connect!

Much love from your POK org. team.
